While taking responsibility for my actions and the part I played in my offense. I served 8 years at SCI Muncy. Although giving up substance use prior to being incarcerated I didn’t change any of my behaviors. I took a deep look within myself and vowed to change my behaviors from the moment I stepped foot onto Muncy grounds. While at Muncy I met so many broken justice involved individuals behind the walls, individuals that had the slightest clue as to where to begin post release. Sitting on my bunk at night I wrote letters to organizations and put the whole business plan together. I vowed somehow to be a voice for the voiceless and to take the initiative to help as many justice involved individuals that I could possibly assist in some way or form.One thing I knew I wanted to do for sure is somehow offer wrap-around services and transitional living.
